Wet Cupping for Lymphatic Drainage
Wet Cupping for Lymphatic Drainage | Everything you need to know about your lymphatic system!
This treatment is above all treatments! Constantly in high demand. Helping cleanse the body using the Human Lymphatic System
We target the individuals lymphatic system using Hijama placed on the individuals lymphatic system. Neglect of health over time produces stagnated lymph fluid and acidic waste the body stays carrying.
The lymphatic system does not have its own working mechanism. 70% of our body waste is channeled in the spine and 30% to the right shoulder.
Many individuals associate Hijama with the clearance of toxins and morbidities from the body via the microcirculatory system and they would be correct in their thinking. However, there is more to Hijama than simply removing blood stasis. It allows the clearance of any occlusions in the Lymphatic ducts which are part of the greater Lymphatic System.
What is "Lymphatic System"?
The lymphatic system is our body’s ‘sewerage system’. It maintains fluid levels in our body tissues by removing all fluids that leak out of our blood vessels. The lymphatic system is responsible for the optimal functioning of our immune system responses. It helps maintain the balance of fluid in the body by draining excess fluid from the tissues of the body and returning it to the blood system.
The lymph nodes monitor the lymph flowing into them filtering out bacteria and produce cells and antibodies which are essential in protecting our body from infection and disease. Besides forming lymphocytes and antibodies, the lymphatic system is also responsible for the collection of fatty globules from the intestine and their transmission through the mesenteric glands and the thoracic duct into the bloodstream. As the lymph circulates between the cells, it collects waste matter including dead blood cells, toxic material and, if present, some cancer cells.
While blood is responsible for collecting and distributing oxygen, nutrients and hormones nourishing the entire body, the lymphatic system is responsible for collecting and removing waste products in tissues, acting as a systematic garbage collection service! When this waste is not collected adequately or effectively, it congregates as a localized congestion.
✅This is where Hijama Therapy can assist; in the removal of these blockages and stagnant fluids and have the lymph channels clear to allow the lymphatic system to operate freely once again. Cupping/lymphatic drainage is important, helping to keep stimulate and release local toxins.
Cupping Types for Lymphatic Drainage
Dry cupping involves placing suction cups on specific points of a person’s body depending on treatment. The suction cups create a steady pull on the person’s skin and internal vessels. This improves the overall circulation of that problem areas and allows the release and drainage of excess fluid and toxins as well.
Wet cupping, on the other hand, involves making small incisions on the skin, with a sterile instrument, before placing the suction cup on the person’s skin. This process is excellent for improving blood flow and also takes away accumulated blood and excess fluid for areas of edema.
It is essential that wet cupping is only practiced by professionals @CURACO in a clean and sterile environment. Using properly sterilized instruments and where all infection control protocols are followed.
✅Wet Cupping Therapy expands and clears vessels in the spine, neck and skull. Helping promote excellent blood flow and oxygenation to the body. Effectively draw out old, deoxygenated blood, excess fluid, and toxins from the human body. The suction of the cup effectively removes accumulated fluid and draws in fresh blood to the area. An amazing detox for the lymphatic system.
Method for Lymphatic Drainage Cupping
1️⃣The therapist @CURACO begins with applying a small amount of Black Seed Oil | its striking properties; it heals, restores, and nourishes. The oils help us glide the cups over the skin/organs smoothly and stimulate blood circulation flow. We call this Cupping Massage.
2️⃣Next, the therapist gently provides a deep tissue massage using cup/scraper tool to help create a healthy blood flow.
3️⃣Then @CURACOTHERAPIST applies the dry cupping technique around the spine & other problem areas, leaving the cups on for a period of time. This allows the layer of skin to numb for a short period of time.
4️⃣The dry cups are then removed and superficial cuts/abrasions are made to the second layer of the skin (Dermis). The cuts are no deeper than a papercut. NO PAIN.
5️⃣Now, this is called Wet Cupping. The cup slowly fills... removing acidic blood waste (dead blood cells)
6️⃣Then, cups are removed and the individual instantly stops bleeding. The area is cleaned and lathered with an aftercare oil.
Cupping Lymphatic System
Since massage increases the flow of the lymph fluid, the fluid pushes these stagnant toxins through the system, causing the symptoms of detox or sickness. Stagnant lymph fluid and blood are circulated and expelled out of the body. The whole lymphatic drainage system is able to work effectively and flush out toxins and other problematic substances from the body.
